Breed Specific Legislation Does Not Work

I found this on Allie Boniface's blog. If you own a dog, especially a big dog, please watch this in its entirety.

We have raised big dogs for well over thirty years; Greg even longer than that. If you think aggression depends on the breed, think again.

This is a good video, Maria. In NZ there was an horrific attack on a little girl in a park. There was a press frenzy and officials decided that the way to stop further attacks was to get all dogs microchipped. Huh! Of course that hasn't done a thing to fix the situation.

That sounds about right. I am so tired of people not taking responsibility. Instead of enacting more laws, they need to enforce a little common sense.
