What a Difference a Week Makes

I normally don't post on the weekends, but I had to share this. Presented as proof, the Weather Babe. The temperature on the left (12 degrees) was from 2-11-11. The temperature on the right (80 degrees) was from yesterday, 2-18-11.

Notice Weather Babe's attire. That's why we call her Weather Babe.

We had 40s all week, so a lot of our snow melted. But now we're getting another 10 inches Sun-Mon.

Angelina: 60s are good. It's good outdoor working weather, though I'm forbidden any strenuous activity until I get over this chest congestion.

Maria Zannini said...: Shelley: She changes to Celsius if you tweak her controls, but obviously, we're all Fahrenheit here. I never can remember the conversion, but Greg does since he works in both.

Marianne: Agh! Blogger did that to me too the other day. I try to remember to copy long comments, but it always catches me when I'm complacent.

There's still a chance of a freeze (after all we had snow on the first day of Spring last year) but I'm sure any cold weather will be transitory from here on out.; February 20, 2011 at 6:51 AM
