I normally don't post on the weekends, but I had to share this. Presented as proof, the Weather Babe. The temperature on the left (12 degrees) was from 2-11-11. The temperature on the right (80 degrees) was from yesterday, 2-18-11.
Notice Weather Babe's attire. That's why we call her Weather Babe.

ha! That's awesome!
We had 40s all week, so a lot of our snow melted. But now we're getting another 10 inches Sun-Mon.
Stoopif faux-spring.
Love your Weather Babe. Ours just has a little stick person by a house. LOL Let's hope Weather Babe doesn't go back to the wardrobe on the left.

Thoughts in Progress
Sarah: !0 inches! Yikes. I'll save you the guest room when you get tired of your weather. :)
Mason: Amen, sister!
Your weather is going to extremes! Send some of that 80 degrees up North ... Please!
(grr Google will not sign me into the right account. *stab stab kill kill*)
It's -30C here today. Brrrr
(Sorry Maria for the deletes - Blogger totally messed up my account)

Very cool, Maria. Love the weather babe. It’s been warm here all week too. We actually were in the 60’s this week, but it’s supposed to cool down starting with today.
The Weather Babe is too funny. Now my hubby will want one!
Weather has become an adventure here. We went from inches-thick ice to 70 yesterday, now 40 and windy enough to knock over a small child. thank goodness there are none around, lol.
Joanne: I'll see what I can do. Maybe if we all share, we can settle to 65 degrees. That's pretty comfortable.
Krista: Oh, man! Your blood must have antifreeze.
Angelina: 60s are good. It's good outdoor working weather, though I'm forbidden any strenuous activity until I get over this chest congestion.
Cate: Greg picked this up at a garage sale, still in the package. It was a great buy! We get weather and a show. LOL.
Yesterday I heard someone say it got as high as 71, today it's in the 40 with strong-force wind.
I hope you're enjoying your nice warm temps.
To borrow Will Smith's quote from the film, Independence Day: "I have GOT to get me one of these!"
Feeling better?

Dru: I heard about the winds up there. Yikes! I hope the snows are starting to melt though.
Jimmy: ROTFL. I just hope she doesn't take anything else off when we hit triple digits, otherwise I'll be sending Weather Babe to you, and let it be your wife's problem. :)
Love the weather babe! Cool early Spring temps here.
I have an award for you over on my blog x
Margo: Thanks for the award!
If the weather babe was at our house today, she'd be wearing her bikini. We've had our hottest February for a long time. I think I need a Weather Babe too, but in celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I can't wrap my head around the F temps. :)
Commented TWICE already and Blogger says I'm not signed in. So instead of my other, longer comments (you'd think I'd learn to copy them ... I swear)... you get:
Love the weather babe.
Love your temps more.
Let's see if this one posts.
Shelley: She changes to Celsius if you tweak her controls, but obviously, we're all Fahrenheit here. I never can remember the conversion, but Greg does since he works in both.
Marianne: Agh! Blogger did that to me too the other day. I try to remember to copy long comments, but it always catches me when I'm complacent.
There's still a chance of a freeze (after all we had snow on the first day of Spring last year) but I'm sure any cold weather will be transitory from here on out.
I want one...though in Britain she'd always have her clothes on.
Mike: LOL. You are just going to have to visit us one day. You'll have your fill of Texas heat within 24 hours and rush back to Britain with open arms.
OMG. Just a slight difference!
Ellie: I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the timestamp.
LOL wow, that's an amazing temperature difference. Love the weather babe - too funny! New follower:)
Hiya, Lindsay, and welcome! It's nice to meet you. And you're a Chicagoan! Yay! You're making me feel nostalgic.
I've added you to my follower list and my reader. :)
Hot damn! A similar weather pattern happened where I live too.
Kaye: It is just so bizarre. Suddenly, the idea of a weather machine doesn't sound so far-fetched. Methinks they are tweaking the controls too much though.
The Weather Babe is cool! What a great thermometer!
Melissa: I'm just glad she doesn't get naked. LOL
