The Devil To Pay

Umm…I have a new book out.

I slaved over the cover.
I agonized over every edit.
And I read the manuscript so often I can recite it in my sleep.

But I love this story. And I hope you do too.

You’ll never look at Heaven and Hell in the same light again.

May I introduce, THE DEVIL TO PAY.

It's the first novella in a series called Second Chances, where I crack the preternatural world wide open and show you a realm you've not seen before.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and bad tequila. Shannon McKee finds herself at the end of her rope, and she offers her soul to whoever can save her first.

Unfortunately, she sends that request to both agencies. Shannon’s plea is answered immediately by two men who couldn’t be more different from one another. Yet they share a bond and an affection for the stubborn Miss McKee that even they don’t understand.

When Heaven and Hell demand their payment, Shannon has no choice but to submit. No matter who gets her soul, she’s not getting out of this alive.

It’s on Smashwords and Kindle. Coming soon to other shops.

Next week, I’ll talk about why I went indie and what I learned along the way.

If you read the book, will you leave a review somewhere in the usual places? I'd love you forever. Thanks!

Warning: It's a bit on the sexy side.

Oh my, you've got a new book out! Did you keep very quiet about it or have I missed it?

The cover is amazing. Love the font, the colours - everything. Congrats! I shall check it out.
Congratulations on the new book!

I see more and more authors going indie these days; I think I'm going to do so myself, actually. Looking forward to reading about your experiences with it.

Shirley: Government secrets should be so well guarded. Until yesterday, probably only three people knew of its existence.

Sandra: It's been a great learning experience. But the real test is yet to come.

Angela: Thank you! I worked closely with another artist to morph the model into what she is now.

Darke: LOL. Okay, more than a bit.

Margo: I'm nervous about what to expect, but I took every precaution to make this as perfect as I could.

Wow, the cover's fantastic! Love the premise too. (Except I was going to title one of my Goddess Connection series almost the same thing, lol)
Congrats! Going on my TBR list.

Sarah: You might be right. At least for me.

Mason: Thank you so much for your support!

Angelina: Hope you like it. I hope you REALLY like it.

Madeleine: I've found it's a lot more work than it looks.

Cate: The cover was very important to me on a professional level since my first career was in graphic design.

Ref: title
You know I Googled the title and found nothing. When I finally got to publishing it, Amazon had two more titles with that name. For some reason they just didn't make the Google hit list.

Maria let me just put it this way WOOOHOOO and congratulations on the new "pretty"! BTW the book is a bit more than just a little on the sexy side, it burns the eyes in a good way when you read it and I am now in love with the "boys"! Shannon never had it so good!

Jackie: Shh... Don't scare everybody with how spicy it is. LOL.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Just kidding.
I'm sorry that I haven't been around much these days. I'm still trying to figure it all out, you know?

Great cover and blurb! Definitely adding to my list (which would probably collapse on me and kill me if it wasn't mostly digital these days).

Congrats Maria!
Congrats, Maria! I hope it does incredibly well!

Jimmy: You get up at some ungodly hour every day. Even my chickens don't do that. LOL. Thanks for stopping by.

Kaz: Thanks, hon.

Shelley: From your lips to God's ear.

Liz: Thanks, Liz. That means a lot coming from you.

Raelyn: Thank you, sweetie.

Barbara: Me too. It's very intimidating knowing your success or failure is squarely on your shoulders.

Are you kidding me? With a cover like that, I'd be seriously disappointed if it weren't steamy.
Maria Zannini said…
Ellie: LOL. This time with a little more feeling.

Angela: I guess I did my job then. It was important that she look sexy without taking off her clothes.
