Creating Cover Art, Down & Dirty Tips

My guest post on creating cover art is up at Kristen Lamb's blog. Huzzah! I was so worried because I had no idea if Kristen ever got my files.

Now don't make me look bad. Go over there and ask me questions--or at least make funny faces.

This particular post was particularly important to me because it's the one thing I can talk about with expertise. Whether you're creating your own art or looking for a designer, I hope you find it useful.

Fantastic post over at Kristin's. I've got it bookmarked. Love your covers. I'm about to try to design my own, so this came at a perfect time. I majored in art and I've been a theater and retail window designer, so I'm good with design, but didn't know where to begin. This is just the info I needed. Thanks!

Sarah: Sorry you couldn't comment over there, but thanks for giving me sugar over here. :)

Anne: Welcome! I'm glad it was useful.

PS I had a similar background and then Corporate America hired me. It was all downhill from there. LOL.

Thanks for popping in.

Huzzah indeed glad the post aired and hope you are enjoying all of us enjoying what you shared Maria, I am particularly fond of you saying it only looks hard but is much worse... See I knew it was better for me not to learn how to do design work! LOL

Jackie: I'm just so fussy about details. It was much easier when it was just a pen and a piece of paper.
