Oh, it's Friday

My week is so messed up. I thought today was Saturday. Just as well, I have to go and complain to my bank about some suspicious withdrawals. Just once, I wish companies would play nice and not gouge us to death with mystery fees.

Sunday: Armchair world travelers, come back Sunday when Krista D. Ball talks about vacations and going home again.

Monday: I just discovered 'tagging books' and I think we should have a party. Who's with me? I'm not sure I know what I'm doing and I'd love an Amazon expert to help me out.

Also, recently, a book blogger emailed me about something cool and unusual she's planning for The Devil To Pay. If you read the book, you'll definitely want to be involved with that event. And if you haven't read it, what, don't ya love me? It's short. Even better, it's cheap!

Buy it at Amazon, and for those without Kindles, at Smashwords.  Thanks!

I hate companies and all their hidden fees. My husband got his phone bill that was double the usual amount. It had a fifty dollar late fee on there. I called the phone place and they were like "oops" we made a mistake! Huh, you never make a mistake saying we owe LESS then we should!

Well, hope you get your bank stuff fixed. Have a great weekend.

Tagging books? Oh, dear, what's that? You are certainly ahead of me.

Jennifer: I might have to call on your superhero powers so I get it right.

Angelina: I often wonder how often companies make money by 'accidental' overcharging. Accidental, my foot.

Sarah: Holiday weeks always mess me up.

Angela: I'll explain the rules on Monday, but basically we help authors get some notice by tagging their books with appropriate tags on Amazon.

Jackie: You're DJing? You're insane, woman!

Hi, Stranger! How are you?
I'm turning over a new leaf this week. I'm posting once a week, promoting the heck out of it and then visiting the blogs of my buddies... That's why I'm here today. Sorry I've been more missing than present. So far, so good with this new plan of mine.

Take care,

-Jimmy

Darke: You can still participate by tagging the authors whose books we promote. It's all about karma.

Jenny: I was counting on you. :)

Jimmy: At this rate, you'll grow a new tree. Nice to see you here!

Hi Maria! I try to tag when I'm on amazon. I also try to Like things I, er...like! And vote for helpful positive reviews. Hard to say if any of that helps, but it can't hurt.

Can't wait to read Devil to Pay. It is on my list for this week!

Charlie: I generally review on Goodreads so Amazon is new to me, but I'm willing to learn.

Liking or voting for good reviews is just so easy and quick. It takes very little effort but can help postive reviews move to the top and help books show up more often in search results. Tagging is good too. I try to put some thought into coming up with good tags for things that won't already be part of the book's indexing. I really don't know if multiple tagging has an impact on searches. Would really love to know.
