DIY Christmas Earrings

1.You’ll start with earring wires, jump rings and beads (we used wire-wrapped red and green glass beads, and a bell in a similar size).  We used flat-nosed plier to do the work.

2.  Connect the beads and bell using a jump ring between each.  To properly open and close jump rings you actually twist them at the opening to make them gap a bit, and then twist them back.  Don’t actually pull the ring open (into a “C”) or you’ll never get it closed properly again.

3.  Then add the earring wire….

And voila!  You have an awesome pair of Christmas earrings.

When I was in high school (otherwise known as the Dark Ages) we used to attach those jingle bells to our shoelaces.

Probably drove the poor nuns insane, but we only did it around Christmas.

The jingle bell earrings brought back those memories.

Thanks!

Since I would not wear them even if won a pair do not enter me Maria as I just wanted to stop in and say very cool idea and very easy to make earrings too. I really admire all forms of creativity, especially hand crafts.
