Easy Contests

KS Augustin is having a bunch of authors over at her blog this week. You never know, your new favorite author may be over there. Stop by and drop in a comment for a chance to win a copy of Cougars & Cubs. Contest ends May 18 (US time)

From Kaz:
Yep, everyone who comments will be in the draw to win a copy of the Cougars & Cubs anthology (unless you specifically tell me not to include you), set for release on Monday 10 May. Because it’s a digital anthology, there’s no limitation on where you reside. If you can comment, you can win!

Maria thanks for the contest heads up at my place for your followers and thanks for coming by earlier. I love pups large and small but have always only had small house pets because of our moving so much over the years and at first no space for a bigger dog and now just prefer lap dogs!!!

You're welcome, Jackie.

Ref: lap dogs
Unfortunately, ours don't know they're not Chihuahua size. They bound into any free lap they see.

But "Mom" that just means they love affection, and more importantly have been shown nothing but that and kindness from others their whole lives!!! Big dogs are like that, my little lap dog on the other hand only "loves" immediate family and does not like anyone else. Count the blessings of a big dog never meeting a "stranger"!

My half Golden Retriever and half Irish Setter that I had growing up slept on half my bed back to back with me and got in my lap as much as possible, she never knew she was not as small as the Daschund and the Chihuahua we had!!! I miss her still after almost 30 years!!!

If they love me any more, I'm going to be crippled. :o)

The bigger one is 140lbs. The 'little' one clocks in at 76lbs.

Maria, you got me there. My baby only weighs eight pounds and it feels like 100 when he just stays in one place and puts my arm or leg to sleep!

The house cats weigh in at 12 and 14 lbs so they get heavy too. Your pets on the other hands are the weight of a very heavy human child!!!
