Don't Panic and Other Weird Tales

The blog tour continues and I reveal one of my most embarrassing computer moments ever at Tia Nevitt's blog. But I'm not stopping there. Oh no. I also tell you how I came [this] close to committing murder when my computer decided to take up comedy.

I swear to you I can't make this stuff up.

If you're a long time follower, you know there is never a dull moment in my life. If you're new...just hang on. I get weirder with age.

I forgot to ask a question at the end of the post, so take this one back with you when you go visit Tia.

What is strangest thing that's ever happened while you were on your computer? Bonus question: Do you love computers or are they a necessary evil? I'll let you decide how I feel about them after you read the story.

To see where I've been and where I'm going, visit the Blog Tour Page.

Sorry I've been a little absent lately. With my aunt passing away suddenly, I had a lot thrust on me at the last minute. But I should be caught up by the weekend, just in time for a tour break. Then we can have a regular post here.

For now, see me at Tia's and leave me a comment with your tale of woe. We can shake our fists in unison at our computers.

Your story did make me laugh, Maria!

I guess the strangest thing that happened whilst I was on my computer was when I got spammed. I opened up my email a few years ago and over 900 emails appeared in my inbox! The worst part was that I was expecting a very important email and had to trawl through all 900 to find it. I was not amused.

Okay. I guess that's not really a strange tale but it was all I could think of. LOL.

p.s. I wouldn't be without my laptop.

My laptop crashed two summers ago and I swear it had a seizure before it died. Screen flashing and lights blinking. It was not a good feeling.
So sorry about your Aunt, but hooray on the blog tour.

I couldn't be without computers, I'm headed over to Tia's to read your take on tech ...

Gee, I live a dull computer life. Nothing every crazy or fun has happened to me.
I have a love-hate relationship with computers.

Heading over to Tia's now and no could not live without my trusty computer now! Prior to having high speed connection could have cheerfully disconnected forever!

Ellie: I would be cursing that spammer a living death. Oy! That's awful.

Lydia: A seizure. That's it. That's what mine had. Only the code writer didn't have to scare me with the words, Don't Panic. So not funny.

Joanne: Take on tech. Love that.

Jackie, high speed or no speed, eh? I wish I could get high speed here.

Sorry to hear about your aunt {{hugs}}

Computers...hmmm...a wee bit of both, depends on the day. Today for example, not a good computer related day, LOL

Hi Maria, So sorry to hear about your aunt. Mine passed away last month. Not unexpected but still sad. *Hugs*

Thanks, Sherri and Liz. This was my mother's sister. I think she's handling it well, but then I guess you tend to be more philosophical about death when you reach a certain age.
