News From The Trenches
Today, I am over at RT Reviews and have I got a post for you. I am going to save you from Computer Armageddon. Yes, it's real! I did my research.
Don't everyone thank me at once.
Stop over and pay me a visit. Don't forget to comment over there.
Edited to add: The post has been canceled due to a conflict of interest. But you can't keep a good blog tour down. "Avoiding Computer Armageddon" will show up on another host blog later in the tour.

And speaking of Armageddon, I promised good news today.
Some of you know that I had been working on the sequel for Touch Of Fire off and on. Sometimes more off than on. After a couple of false starts and an entire new draft, I finished it and sent it off.
I'm a bit superstitious about publicly announcing a contract until both parties have signed it. Last week, I received a signed copy from the publisher.
Carina Press will publish Apocalypse Rising, sequel to Touch Of Fire. It will release in the Spring of 2011.
I'm looking forward to telling you more! It's a novel near and dear to my heart because I love the inner conflicts I created for my main characters.
The sequel will answer some of the questions I posed in Touch Of Fire and there's going to be even more trouble for Grey and Leda--including trouble of the bedroom variety.
If you haven't read Touch Of Fire, snag it before the Spring. You'll get a lot more out of the second book if you read the first one first.
All right. That's all I got for now. Go see me at RT Reviews so I can save you from your Computer Armageddon.

Interesting that you're publishing the sequel with a different publisher. I have to go look at my contract -- but, Samhain doesn't have first right of refusal for sequels? Just curious...
Anyway ... I'm off to visit you at RT.
Will try to remember to go look later.
I'll update this post as soon as it goes live.
jackie ^_^
If anyone here hasn't read TOUCH OF FIRE - be good to yourself and order it NOW! It's a great read.
Congratulations. :)
It's been a very wild ride this year.
After all I've been through so far, I'm really curious to see what next year will bring. :)
