I normally don't post on the weekends, but I had to share this. Presented as proof, the Weather Babe. The temperature on the left (12 degrees) was from 2-11-11. The temperature on the right (80 degrees) was from yesterday, 2-18-11.
Notice Weather Babe's attire. That's why we call her Weather Babe.
Very cool, Maria. Love the weather babe. Itās been warm here all week too. We actually were in the 60ās this week, but itās supposed to cool down starting with today.
The Weather Babe is too funny. Now my hubby will want one! Weather has become an adventure here. We went from inches-thick ice to 70 yesterday, now 40 and windy enough to knock over a small child. thank goodness there are none around, lol.
Dru: I heard about the winds up there. Yikes! I hope the snows are starting to melt though.
Jimmy: ROTFL. I just hope she doesn't take anything else off when we hit triple digits, otherwise I'll be sending Weather Babe to you, and let it be your wife's problem. :)
If the weather babe was at our house today, she'd be wearing her bikini. We've had our hottest February for a long time. I think I need a Weather Babe too, but in celsius instead of Fahrenheit. I can't wrap my head around the F temps. :)
Commented TWICE already and Blogger says I'm not signed in. So instead of my other, longer comments (you'd think I'd learn to copy them ... I swear)... you get:
Shelley: She changes to Celsius if you tweak her controls, but obviously, we're all Fahrenheit here. I never can remember the conversion, but Greg does since he works in both.
Marianne: Agh! Blogger did that to me too the other day. I try to remember to copy long comments, but it always catches me when I'm complacent.
There's still a chance of a freeze (after all we had snow on the first day of Spring last year) but I'm sure any cold weather will be transitory from here on out.
Mike: LOL. You are just going to have to visit us one day. You'll have your fill of Texas heat within 24 hours and rush back to Britain with open arms.
Kaye: It is just so bizarre. Suddenly, the idea of a weather machine doesn't sound so far-fetched. Methinks they are tweaking the controls too much though.

We had 40s all week, so a lot of our snow melted. But now we're getting another 10 inches Sun-Mon.
Stoopif faux-spring.

Thoughts in Progress
Mason: Amen, sister!
It's -30C here today. Brrrr

Krista: Oh, man! Your blood must have antifreeze.
Angelina: 60s are good. It's good outdoor working weather, though I'm forbidden any strenuous activity until I get over this chest congestion.
Cate: Greg picked this up at a garage sale, still in the package. It was a great buy! We get weather and a show. LOL.
I hope you're enjoying your nice warm temps.
Feeling better?

I have an award for you over on my blog x
Love the weather babe.
Love your temps more.
Let's see if this one posts.
