Author Liberation
Barbara Ann Wright asked me the coolest question. She wanted to know if I found self-publishing liberating. She invited me to guest blog at her place and it seemed like the perfect topic to tackle. I even included a quiz.
Stop by Barbara's blog and visit us. Fatigues and body armor optional. You'll see what I mean when you get there.

Yesterday, I accidentally deleted all the blog posts I normally follow on Google Reader. If I missed you, I apologize.

In other news...is it hot enough for you?
It seems all we talk about lately is the brutal heat. But pictures speak louder than words. For your amusement, the Weather Babe and her forecast. Yes. That's 111 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm surprised her bikini didn't catch on fire.
I think we got hotter that day, but this is the only temp I caught on camera.

In book news:
If you read The Devil To Pay, pop over to Riverina Romantics and discuss it. I'd love to know what you think about the story, and which thread the next book will explore. (Hint: Liam is going to make some hard decisions that go against his moral compass--but it might be the only way to save Shannon.)
Sales: I seem to sell on Amazon, but Smashwords hardly gets any love. If you read off anything other than a Kindle, I hope you'll pick up The Devil To Pay at Smashwords. Or Amazon. You have a choice.
See ya at Barbara Ann Wright's blog and Riverina Romantics.

Overall, crappy summer for us.
Why is that ad slogan "Stay thirsty my friends" running through my head?
Bummer on your reader, are you going to have to re-build your list from scratch?
BTW the word verification is waterm -- Water Maria? LOL
Krista: I'll trade you some sun for some of your rain. I say we forget about curing baldness and work on controlling the weather.
Angela: From what I hear on the news, the reason we're under such extreme heat is because we have a high pressure system doming the entire middle part of the country. Until that high pressure moves off we won't be getting any relief.
Raelyn: On the reader there's a button that asks if you want to mark all posts as read. I have everyone in subfolders and when I'm short on time, I might delete the posts in a specific subfolder (like Craigslist or coupons) Unfortunately, I didn't have a subfolder selected and it deleted all the posts that I still hadn't read that day.
Considering the sort of days I've had lately, that was about par for the course. I think the heat is killing my mojo.
Weather smeather, we are just in a holding pattern so we know what if feels like when the world ends in 2012. (That is my story and I am sticking to it.LOL) Of course since I could fry an egg on my bay window in my living room right now maybe the world already ended and we just don't know it yet!
Jackie: I think the devil is vacationing in Texas. It's like being hit with a furnace every time you go out.
Yes we've had some really humind weather here in good ol blightly. Nows the rain is back and with it cooler temperatures, so hopefully a better night's sleep :O)
