Cheap Tricks: Use Your Stapler

I didn't recognize this as a cheap trick until someone mentioned she thought it odd that I reseal my frozen foods with staples.

And why not? It's not as bulky as a clip and it's more cost effective than transferring the package to a resealable plastic bag, especially for something I plan to use up quickly.

Staple? bit high tech. I just tie my plastic bag in a knot - and depend upon scissors to untie it :)

Okay, I'll admit it. I never would have thought of that. I don't even keep a stapler in the kitchen. Or at least I didn't.

Linda: I only brought it up because someone else thought it was unique when she saw it. I've had too many times when clips got slipped off as stuff got moved around. This way is less intrusive and clean.
